The Current Apostolic Season

Much is spoken about the current Apostolic Season and unfortunately, there is a large amount of miss information, especially concerning what it represents and the purpose thereof. The Apostolic is primarily a foundational building work to establish Christ as a foundation for the Church (Ecclesia). The Five-Fold ministry (consisting of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers - Eph 4:11), is FUNCTION driven and not title driven.

This Apostolic Season:

Is about birthing the Ecclesia that has been prepared for harvest (Matt 16:18). The season is not just about creating a pathway to the church door.
Is about sending sons of the house into the harvest field apostolicically. For the sending into purpose and destiny.
Is for preparing the Ecclesia to move in signs, wonders and miracles and to prepare the sons of God for a supernatural outpouring of the spirit on the mature sons. Once hidden, but now revealed.
List ItemIs not about the church as usual, but to prepare the Ecclesia doctrinally so that the sent ones can build the Father’s House accurately.
Is coming into a time of separation, the coming forth of a remnant who are unspotted by Babylon and those who walk in righteousness. Righteousness as in being compliant with the Throne’s demands. Not just righteousness by right living.

What is an Apostolic Counsil?

The church needs to arise in a governmental grace. Both the apostles and prophets carry this governmental grace for the purpose to establish and build these dimensions into the church and to break into territories and establish Christs rule and reign.

An Apostolic Counsel is established for accurate and effective governance within the church. These aspects of governance are summarised in the below points.

Apostolic Counsel is:

For oversight (Acts 8:14)
For wisdom and guidance (Acts 15:2-12)
For establishing of foundations (Acts 19:7-10)
For alignment in Christ (Acts 19:7-10)
To set the standard of the word / apostolic doctrine (Acts 15:13-22; 19:7-10)
To resolve disputes over doctrinal issues according to the Word of God and apostolic insight (Acts 15:2-12)
To bring alignment and execute judgment on matters (Acts 8:18-24; 22:5)
To upgrade the Church and its leaders (Acts 19:1-7)
To assist pastors experiencing divisive issues in local churches, as invited to intervene.
To bring healing to churches through apostolic counsel (wisdom & insight).

What is an Apostolic Table?

The Apostolic Table is established to bring accurate apostolic doctrine and alignment for the Church. It is a place of equipping and upgrading and updating Five-Fold ministers and leaders so that the Lord has a strong foundation by which Christ can raise His ecclesia and establish His kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven (Matt 6:9&10; Matt 16:18).

The Double Decade of Open Heavens (2020-2040) will be instrumental to ensure access to the heavenlies and the strategies and wisdom of the Lord so that a strong and established Church can be the change agent on the earth (Eph 3:10&11). We will see the supernatural dimensions of God released on the earth and the manifestation of the book of Joel chapter 2 in these days. The Apostolic Table meets regularly to equip and upgrade those who attend so that equalisation in the Kingdom of God can take place. Gods heart is for every believer to be upgraded and updated!

City Church is a corporate gathering of churches in the city of Windhoek once every month (Or as stated) where we gather to worship together and receive the apostolic / prophetic Word of God in the season, across denominational lines.
